Thermal bath

The Spa's water springs from a depth of 1268 m at 62°C. Its anion and cation content is 1340mg/l. PH 6,54. The water is rich in calcium- magnesium- hydrogen- carbonate, chloride and sulphate, and has a healing effect on degenerative spinal, articular diseases, as well as the rehabilitation of accident, orthopaedic and nerve surgeries, and chronic inflammatory gynaecological clinical aspects. The services of the spa are for relaxation and healing, and five out of its eight swimming-pools are in continuous operation during the whole year. The extra services include: sauna, massage, pedicure, manicure and reflexology.
The medical treatments available in the spa's therapeutic pavilion make the bath cure complete.

Komárom

Komárom, a city of 20000 inhabitants, is situated on the right bank of the Danube, 7 km from the highway M1. Its historical importance dates back to the Roman age. The biggest fort system of Middle-Europe was built in the XIX century, the continuous renovation, utilization of which has been started (the Fort of Monostor). It can be visited the whole year round, though limited in the winter months. The Slovakian Komárom is situated on the left bank of the Danube with a historical quarter. The two cities are connected by the Erzsébet-bridge. Komárom is 100 km from Budapest and Balaton, the "Hungarian sea". The cities of Esztergom, Tata, Győr and Pannonhalma, all rich in historical sights, are within a 50 km travelling distance from Komárom.
